Our mission at Architectural busStrut was to create a product which would simplify all aspects of flexible lighting and power in “open-ceiling” buildings. We started with the concept of “open-ceiling” TRACK - seeing its flexibility and user-friendliness. Then we looked at how steel STRUT has emerged as the best solution for support of lighting and power in “open-ceiling” applications. And as a result, how conventional in-field wiring has been coerced into functioning within or alongside UNWIRED STRUT, regardless of expense or aesthetics. We looked for improvements. What we found may sound simple. The best answers usually are. What “open-ceiling” buildings needed was a product that would cost effectively replace standard 20 AMP lighting track, high amperage industrial bus and UNWIRED STRUT. Designers needed a “Plug & Play” lighting and power busway track for use with Fluorescent and HID Hi-Bays, Tracklights and POWER Cords and Boxes. What we came up with is prewired 20 AMP & 40 AMP ARCHITECTURAL busSTRUT; 12 gauge steel strong and a universal PLUG-IN Flip-Fitter which is so ingenious, it virtually works with Anybody’s Anything. Lighting, Machinery and Equipment. 20 AMP Flip-Fitters even eliminate costly fixture fusing.
